# Teams

> Teams are managed in the Refabric app.

You create a team, invite members and manage them in the app's settings — **Panel › Team** opens
them.

## How a team affects the API

- **Keys stay personal.** A key belongs to the user who created it and acts as that user, whether
  or not they are on a team ([Accounts and identity](https://docs.refabric.com/setting-up/accounts-and-identity)).
- **Credits.** On a team, your balance also respects your own share of the team's credits, and
  your own credits are spent before your team's ([Pricing](https://docs.refabric.com/task-apis/pricing#credits)).
