# Libraries and resources

> How to call the API from your language, and where the other developer resources are.

You call the API over HTTPS with any HTTP client. Every
example in these docs is plain HTTP — Python with `requests`, JavaScript with `fetch`, and cURL.

## Packages

| Language | How to call the API | Install |
|---|---|---|
| Python | HTTP with `requests` | `pip install requests` |
| JavaScript / TypeScript | HTTP with the built-in `fetch` (Node.js 18 or later, Deno, Bun) | nothing to install |
| Any other | HTTP: `Authorization: Key $REFABRIC_API_KEY`, base URL `https://api.refabric.com/v1` | your HTTP client |
